The IT giant Microsoft is said to be integrating OpenAI writing technology into Office, offering users a means to write text for projects by integrating AI technology into its programs. The business plans to integrate OpenAI’s artificial intelligence into Word, Outlook, Powerpoint, and other programmes.
According to reports, this will enable users to add long passages of automatically created text to a document in response to a prompt. Additionally, this may also contain an AI-generated email that the user creates for the recipient depending on what they wish to say.

Microsoft engineers and researchers have been employing OpenAI’s machine-learning models for more than a year to develop customized AI tools for writing emails and documents. Microsoft has also begun testing Teams chat, a brand-new tool that it intends to incorporate into Outlook soon.

The software behemoth claims that starting in March 2023, all users will have access to the capability. In the context of a meeting, this feature will make it simple for attendees to send a brief message or check the discussion from Outlook using Teams chat. With the help of this feature, attendees and organizers will no longer need to exchange emails to discuss a meeting in real-time using the chat integration.
