Inflows into Indian equity mutual
funds eased in December from the previous month, industry data
showed on Friday.
Inflows fell 6.2 per cent month-on-month to ₹28,054 crore
($3.1 billion) during the month, data from the Association of
Mutual Funds in India showed.
Despite the fall, the domestic flows offset the foreign
outflows of about $2.5 billion in December, amid expectations of
an improvement in corporate earnings.
Steady domestic investments have underpinned Indian markets
despite US tariff risks and global geopolitical concerns.
