Mitsui OSK Lines Ltd. plans to introduce a progressive dividend policy in its next medium-term plan, Chief Executive Officer Takeshi Hashimoto said.
While Mitsui OSK has gradually increased its dividend as part of efforts to improve shareholder returns, that has brought the risks of fluctuating payouts because of volatile earnings, Hashimoto said in an interview on Wednesday.
