The National Hurricane Center is tracking Invest 95L in the central Atlantic.
The system is expected to strengthen into a tropical depression by the middle of the week as it approaches the Caribbean.

“It is becoming likely that this will organize into a tropical storm this week,” said AccuWeather Senior Meteorologist Dan Pydynowski.

If the system does strengthen into a named storm, it would become Tropical Storm Jerry.
